Paintings by Vu Cong Dien

Vu Cong Dien has only been on the professional scene for a few years yet his works are already in high demand in Europe, Australia, the US and Japan. Dien’s style of painting is characterized by vast expanses of fields dominated by large balloon shaped trees. He uses mono and dichromatic color schemes to achieve a sense of tranquility and peace.

  1. These make me think of The Lorax and just smile, very precise and the colors vivid making me pinch myself to see if I’m dreaming 🙂

    1. second that… can’t decide which one is my favourite… it’s a tie between no 1 and 3….

    1. Vũ Công Điền is my husband, so I understand him. He working painstaking, mornings, afternoons, evenings and night with all passion. I love him and sharing his creative work. The pictures are beautiful thank to the strict work of art. And you’ll see more great things in the future

      1. I just bought one of Vu Cong Dien’s paintings, “Summer Day” *shades of red and orange) from the Thang Long Gallery in Hanoi. It is one of the most stunning and perfectly executed paintings I own. It was shipped to me in the US and I have many friends interested in purchasing his work. His painting is fantastic. I knew I would love it, but not how much I would love it.

      2. I also work with Vu Cong Dien and bring his works to Tokyo via Toriizaka Art. Many of the images on this blog are pieces that have been sold from our gallery and are now in private collections. Vu Cong Dien came to Tokyo for a very well received exhibition in 2008 and he continues to be one of our most sought after artists.
