Giant electrical pylons, in the shape of humans, American design and architecture firm Choi+Shine has entered into the Icelandic High-Voltage Electrical Pylon International Design Competition.

‘Flower’ Tower by Gustafson Porter with Atelier One, and Pfisterer. A sculptural form that is technically inventive and feasible, it is made from painted Galvanized Steel.

A “Tree” form pylon design by Andy Martin Architects.

A bow-like pylon proposed by Amanda Levete Architects and Arup to the RIBA competition to design new electricity pylons for the UK.

Simple yet sophisticated Y-Pylon by Knight Architects with Roughan & O’Donavon and ESB International in association with MEGA
